The Men’s Ministries Department of the Assemblies of God Nigeria started in 1971 as Men’s Fellowship. By 1974, the Executive Committee, under the leadership of Rev. Dr Gabriel O. Oyakhilome (of blessed memory), appointed Rev. Augustus Onyemaechi Asonye as its first director. Within the years of its existence, the Men’s Ministries has had the following directors:
